Pet
Issues..
In order to make our pets
a bit more comfortable we will have a number of different
links and postings about and for them here.
The Department of Health
with be giving free rabies vaccinations for dogs and cats over four
months of age. Microchipping will be available. The vaccination
for dogs will be "free" with the purchase of a D.C. dog
license (required in D.C.) which is $10.00 for sterilized dogs (bring
proof) and $35.00 for unsterilized dogs.
For Ward One it will
take place at H.D. Cooke Elementary 2525 17th Street N.W. (just
below Columbia road). Dogs must be on a leash, cats must be on a
harness or in a carrier. For more information call 576-7934.
